I Am Not a Robot tells the story of Kim Min Kyu, a wealthy man with a severe allergy to human contact, who tests a humanoid robot named Aji 3. When the robot malfunctions, a real woman, Jo Ji Ah, pretends to be the robot temporarily. Yoo Seung Ho portrays Min Kyu’s loneliness and vulnerability with surprising depth, while Chae Soo Bin balances comedy and emotional sincerity. The premise is absurd, yet the emotional journey feels grounded. It explores isolation, trust, and what it means to connect. Silly at times, but unexpectedly heartfelt and romantic.
