“Kill Me Heal Me” is a psychological thriller that premiered in 2015. The drama follows the life of Cha Do-hyun (played by Ji Sung), a successful businessman who suffers from dissociative identity disorder (DID), which is commonly known as multiple personality disorder. Cha Do-hyun exhibits seven different personalities, each with its own set of characteristics and mannerisms.

The first personality to emerge is Shin Se-gi, who is charismatic, aggressive, and has a tendency towards violence. He is followed by Perry Park, a 40-year-old man with a love for drinking, fishing and explosives. The personality of Ahn Yo-sub is a suicidal teenage boy with a photographic memory and a gentle personality. Ahn Yo-na is a teenage girl who has a crush on Oh Ri-on and is flirtatious and dramatic. Nana is a 7-year-old girl who owns a teddy bear named Nana and represents Cha Do-hyun’s childhood. Mr. X is a violent and dangerous persona with unclear intentions, who appears later in the series. Finally, Cha Do-hyun is the original personality of the character, a successful businessman but suffering from memory loss and blackouts due to his DID.

The various personalities of Cha Do-hyun interact with each other and affect the plot of the drama. The performances of Ji Sung in portraying the different personalities were highly praised, showcasing his exceptional acting skills. The drama addresses the sensitive topic of mental health and the impact it has on an individual’s life, family, and relationships.
