After years of anticipation, Disney’s live-action remake of Hercules is still in the works, but the road to bringing it to theaters has been much slower than many fans expected. Watch here. The project was first announced in 2020 as part of The Walt Disney Company’s ongoing effort to adapt its animated classics into live-action films. Fans were immediately excited, especially since the original Hercules remains one of Disney’s most loved musicals. The story follows Hercules, the son of Zeus, as he trains with Phil to become a true hero, falls for Megara, and battles against the schemes of Hades.
