A new animated Willy Wonka project is officially on the way, but it is not the adaptation many people might be expecting. Netflix has officially announced Charlie vs. the Chocolate Factory, a new animated feature set in the world of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The project is part of Netflix’s ongoing expansion of the Roald Dahl universe following its acquisition of the Roald Dahl Story Company in 2021.
