After years of anticipation and a massive fan following, Good Omens is finally set to conclude and now we have an official release date for its final installment. The story of the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley will wrap up with a 90-minute finale episode premiering on 13 May 2026 on Prime Video.

This special episode serves as the conclusion to the beloved fantasy series, which is based on the acclaimed 1990 novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.

Good Omens began as a novel co-written by Gaiman and Pratchett called Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch. The book combines sharp satire with heartfelt storytelling, following an angel and a demon who have grown fond of Earth and are far more interested in friendship than fulfilling their divine or infernal duties. Its humor, warmth, and clever take on the apocalypse helped it become a cult favorite among fantasy readers.

When Amazon and BBC Studios adapted the book into a television series in 2019, fans around the world finally got to see beloved characters like Aziraphale and Crowley brought vividly to life on screen. The first season followed the novel closely, with Michael Sheen as the angel Aziraphale and David Tennant as the demon Crowley.

Although detailed plot details are still under wraps, the finale picks up after the Season 2 cliffhanger, following the tensions between Heaven, Hell, and Earth as the “ineffable husbands” navigate their complicated bond.
