The show’s strongest points are the visuals, the food, and the lead chemistry. Cooking scenes are shot beautifully — every dish looks delicious, the steam, the knives, the plating, it all feels almost cinematic enough to smell. Im Yoon-ah grounds Ji-yeong with warmth, spunk, and modern attitude, while Lee Chae-min’s king is prickly but softens just enough to make their dynamic sexy and engaging.
